Learn to deal with the challenges that are going to happen and the things that will go wrong when you get out on the water on a small boat. Greater confidence equals more enjoyable sailing.
Everything that matters on a boat. Come over to the boat on Friday afternoon/evening for Lisa's cooking and a talk about getting the right attitude to taking a boat to sea, and all that it entails. Then spend Saturday and Sunday working through the practicalities of engine basics, electrical testing and repairs, rope work and rigging, and all of the things that can and definitely do go wrong at sea. In the evenings James will talk through experiences and lessons learned, there will be plenty of food and drink, and time to unwind and explore Whitehaven if you wish.
