The RYA Day Skipper Theory Course is a comprehensive introduction to chartwork, navigation, meteorology, safety, and the basics of seamanship. It is invaluable for learning how to start making decisions on board and if you are considering taking the Day Skipper practical course. This course really covers more than any other course and is the best start to becoming a captain yourself.
Everything is provided on the course including books, text books, charts, study aids, and training questions. All you need to bring is a pencil and pad, although if you have your own plotter and dividers that will be great as they always come in handy.
