""We chase comfort because we fear discomfort.
And fear is our strongest emotion, so it allows us to be blinded by comfort.
At sea you are forced to become stronger."
By Lisa.

You will look back and judge your life not by the good and bad experiences during it, but how you feel about the good and bad experiences during it. That is the bottom line and a true measurement of your life. And deep down you know this.
So if life is meant to be about feeling good, how comes you can so easily end up chasing money, working hard at health, being limited by image, worrying about things, and spending so much time and energy on... what?
It took me many years and a lot of travel to find true freedom - and it is actually in your own head. A few core ancient philosophies delivered simply still stand firm in a complex world. And we try and live by them. I have been unwanted, abused, broken, and lost, and yet I found a way to became so happy in life. I was wrong again and again but I learned and I understood something that you don't find in many books anymore. Less of a coach/skipper to the people I work with, and more of a companion who is always there. One that has not only probably been through what you are going through, but come out of it in a better place than when I went in.

And it does not take much out here. A few special moments - such as those below - are all it takes to turn everything around:
Being rocked gently to sleep under a big moon listening to the lapping waves.
Laughing until it hurts with the crew at the insane stories that we tell again and again as a ritual to life.
Feeling awe at the power of the wind through the helm as it drives us forward when we are sailing in the groove.
Playing with the dolphins as they show off in the phosphorescence and remind us of our place.
That glow of arriving at a new destination with the happiness of the voyage and the excitement of what this new land will bring us.
If you would like any help with ANYTHING that is holding you back or causing you anxiety in life, or if you would like to learn to improve Assertiveness, Confidence, and more, please let James know. We can help.
